1.7 -- What does a day with an AI agent look like?

You're wondering what actually changes in your daily routine. Here's a typical day, hour by hour, for someone like you.

The morning: you arrive, the briefing is already ready

You open Telegram on your phone. A message is waiting for you, sent at 7am by your agent:

Good morning Marc. Last night, 2 quote requests came in by email. I've prepared the drafts. One invoice has been unpaid for 12 days — would you like me to send a reminder? Weather: nice all day.

You reply "ok for the reminder" from your phone in 10 seconds. The agent sends the reminder. You head to your job site.

During the day: the agent handles what you don't have time for

A potential client sends an email at 11am: "Hi, how much would it cost to redo my bathroom?"

You're on a job site, hands in the plaster. The agent: 1. Classifies the message as a "quote request" 2. Politely replies that you'll get back to the client within 24 hours 3. Sends you a Telegram message: "New prospect — bathroom. I've confirmed receipt. Quote draft ready this evening."

You didn't do anything. The client got a response in 5 minutes instead of 48 hours.

The evening: you validate instead of doing everything

You get home. On Telegram, the agent has prepared: - 2 quote drafts to validate (you reply "ok" or "change the price to 3500") - A recap of messages received during the day - A reminder: "Client Durand hasn't confirmed the quote sent Monday"

You spend 15 minutes instead of 2 hours. The rest of the evening is yours.

Friday: the weekly summary

The agent sends you a recap:

This week: 4 prospects, 3 quotes sent, 1 job completed. Estimated revenue: 3,200 EUR. 2 invoices to follow up on.

You have a clear view of your activity without opening a single spreadsheet.

What it does NOT do

  • The agent never sends anything without your approval. It prepares, you validate.
  • It doesn't replace your expertise. It doesn't know how to price a job. It knows how to format a quote based on what you've taught it.
  • It doesn't talk to your clients on your behalf (except to confirm receipt).

The change in one sentence

Before: you did everything in the evening when you got home, tired, with things falling through the cracks. After: you validate what the agent has prepared, in 15 minutes, from your phone.
